Visco elastic memory foam is slower to recover from compression than other polyurethane foams. Having the qualities of being energy absorbing and temperature sensitive, it responds to body weight by evenly spreading the weight by increasing the surface area and responding to body heat by perfectly moulding itself to the bodycontour reducing pressure to a minimum.
Visco elastic memory foam mattresses and mattress toppers are probably the most comfortable mattresses and mattress toppers you can sleep on. Visco elastic memory foam was first used by Tempur, but there is now a wide range of quality visco elastic memory foam mattresses and mattress overlay / topper suppliers that provide similar visco elastic memory foam products at much better prices than Tempur.
